Car Boot Pub Quiz
The Car Boot Pub Quiz is a multi-location pub quiz which does exactly what it says. Yes, it’s a pub quiz, but it’s unlike any other because it’s played in multiple locations at the same time. That’s right….your customers against theirs, your pub against theirs, your town against theirs….and of course, your customers against your customers.
Inexpensive, and easy to set up, The Car Boot Pub Quiz broadcasts live on to the TVs in your pub or club, while also doing the same with other pubs or clubs. The quizmaster, with 20 year’s experience of quiz hosting and stand-up comedy, writes and presents all of the questions (and jokes) in this unique interactive performance.
Performance
The pub or club connects to the performance on their TVs, and the quizmaster talks directly to each pub or club showing the questions. While this is happening, the customer connects to our website which delivers both the question and the means to answer directly to their smartphones. Each customer enters their name, assigns themselves to the pub or club they’re in, and we’re off…simple!!
How is it interactive?
Great question, if I say so myself. It’s interactive in a number of ways;
- Throughout the quiz, customers are asked to interactive with the quizmaster using specific emojis based on fun polls
- Customer have the ability to WhatsApp directly to the quizmaster in what we like to call “Queckling”….similar to heckling a comedian, but just heckling a quizmaster….yes, queckling!!
- Pub or club management also have the ability to WhatsApp the quizmaster on a prioritised number to recognise and applaud their customers – “Please tell Mary she’s doing great and there’s a free drink at the bar for her”.
What to expect
Expect a great night’s entertainment which combines the fun of comedy, and the competitiveness of a quiz. Everyone competes as an individual, so no tables of 4 required. Perfect for social distancing and ideal for those who wish to enjoy a drink on their own.
Charges
The business model for the Car Boot Quiz is that customers are not charged. It is purely for fun, and entertainment, similar to employing a singer/guitarist for the night. There is a nominal fee for the entertainment, which is payable by the bar or club and is cheaper than the average singer/guitarist. The difference is, we’re not an average quiz.
